Add an international component to your degree.
Terry offers a wide variety of study abroad programs throughout the year to maximize your ability to participate in an international education experience. Faculty-led study abroad programs allow you to take a course taught by a Terry faculty member while abroad. Foreign exchange programs allow you to live and study for a semester abroad independently. Participants in foreign exchange programs essentially trade places with a student from a partnering university.
The International Business co-major is offered in conjunction with other Terry College majors. This co-major can give you a competitive edge in the global job market by instilling the importance of cultural diversity and educating you on international business trends.
Merit- and need-based financial awards are available to support undergraduate business majors in Terry study abroad and exchange programs for the current academic year. Terry works to make study abroad accessible to more students by defraying the cost of program fees associated with travel, room and board.
International internships allow you to gain valuable work experience abroad. Students can work abroad through a Terry faculty led program, or through placements they find on their own via an external provider, recruiter, or acquaintance.
The Visiting International Business Scholar Program offers opportunities for prominent scholars from non-U.S. institutions to collaborate and engage with faculty and students at the Terry College of Business. The program is intended to enhance academic research and allows scholars to share their expertise through teaching and speaking opportunities. Appointments span up to two weeks, and the program supports one visiting scholar each academic year.
