Office of Marketing and Communications
Lauren Blais is the web team lead for the Office of Marketing and Communications. She brings to Terry a decade of strategic development of scaleable web solutions for UGA's largest college, Franklin College of Arts and Sciences, where she served as the project manager and Drupal front-end expert. In 2019 Franklin recognized her as the IT Professional of the Year.
She holds state and/or national awards in video production, photography and news writing, and a Media Leadership Certificate from Grady College, Cox Communications and the Poynter Institute. In 2015 she graduated cum laude from UGA's Grady College with a Bachelors of Arts in Journalism, emphasis in Publication Management, and a minor in Women's Studies.
In her spare time she works to improve transportation in Athens-Clarke County, serving on TSPLOST 2023 and the Athens in Motion Commission.
